Welcome to Perfect Timing! We are a sports event timing company based in Central Scotland.

We time a wide variety of sporting events including; road races, trail races, ultras, triathlons, duathlons, sportives, and swims, all ranging from 100 to 4000 entrants and everything in between. Covering all of Scotland and the North of England, we time races from Fraserburgh to Carlisle and North Berwick to Campbeltown.

Our DNA

Founder Chris Shepherd brings a decade of timing experience and a reputation of delivering services with the highest quality, accuracy and reliability. For 6 years, Chris ran the operations of Winning Time Ltd before partnering with StuWeb Race Timing Ltd to manage Scottish business. He became a trusted advisor with whoever he worked with and has formed long standing relationships in the industry. Through this, he increased presence in Scotland from 12 events in 2015 to 80 in 2018 whilst with StuWeb Ltd. This reputation of trust and precision is what formed the foundations and values of Perfect Timing.

Our service

Our focus is to deliver a high quality, seamless and friendly timing service. We work closely with you throughout the whole journey; from inception to delivery. We use our extensive timing and event knowledge to take away pressure from you, so you can focus on making your event a success! In order to assist new organisers, we are happy to impart our general event knowledge and observations gained over the years to point you in the right direction and deliver a successful event.

Our team

Alongside Chris are his talented timers Bob and Adie, all backed by the indispensable helpers Gerda, Amy, Reid, and Robert. Together we make the Perfect Timing Team!
